The parent company, Holland Drug, was founded in 1894 by A. E. Holland in a small logging community that is now the incorporated town of Sedro-Woolley, Washington. By 1983, the corporation consisted of two pharmacies, Holland Drug (the oldest continuously operated business in Skagit County) and Hilltop Pharmacy in Mount Vernon. In 1993 the Home Medical Equipment business had outgrown the space available at Hilltop Pharmacy, and Holland Homecare, an HME only business, was born. Currently Holland Homecare has two locations, one in Mount Vernon and one in Bellingham. |
