          Option 1--Use 99999-9999-96 for multiple ingredient compounds.
          Option 2- use a compound indicator code of "2" in the SP field and bill the NDC number of the most expensive ingredient.
 
     Regence
          Put a "2" in the SP field and bill 99999-9999-99 for the NDC. Hormones require you to go to the transaction after rejection and change the ingredient cost to $2.50 less than the total price. This will fix the invalid price rejection. Some plans do not cover compounds and will give a "non-covered service" error.
